Day1:
We spent the first day in a timely manner to discuss about what small company in Valdosta that we wanted to work with. We wanted this to be a good project so we were thinking about Georgia Beer Co. Since it's very popular for people who loves beer but also after the pandemic has slowly goes away, we think this is a very good time to work with Georgia Beer to promote there products after months of pandemic. We decided to make documentary and tell each other to work on the shots that we wanted for our B-roll to tell the story.

Day 2:
First day of filming. Me and my partner Matthew Varrone arrived at Georgia Beer Co very early to filming some specific shots. Matt was taking shots of the process of cans while I film my time-lapse in case we wanted to use it in the video.

My Partner: Matthew Varrone
Day 3:
Second day of filming was supposed to be about watermelon being pureed but due to class time conflict, we weren't be able to capture the moment. However, we got some shots of the crews doing their daily tasks routine.

Day 4:
Today filming is later in the evening when people come and enjoy their favorite beer. The staffs were friendly to set us up with some cheering shots and the guests were very enjoying the moment on the camera. This gives us some very good B-roll to use for our project.

I ordered a beer for a shot that we wanted to use in our project.

Day 5:
Today is our interview day. Matt took the lead in the questions and being an interviewer to make sure the words are not mistaken while I was thinking about lighting and camera position to capture out the most atmosphere in the room.

Matt is sitting in the position so I can prepare our shots and lighting since we're using multi-cam.

Day 6:
Day 6 is a fast pace recording since we were rushing into Georgia Beer Co for grain getting milled footages. This shot is very important because it is the first step of brewing in order for our next shoot to connect and tell the story.

Graining process.

Day 7:
This is our last day of shooting and it's involved the entire brewing process. We arrived at 6 A.M and capture every details that the staffs told us. The shoot was around 4 hours long but there were multiple 10-15 minutes of break to wait for the next process. We got 2-3 times of footages than any other day.

Day 8:
Today is editing day, we decided Matt will be the editor and I will be the supervisor. I will give him feedback about the editing and I will edit the audio.

Day 9:
After receiving the feedback, we know our camera color science are different from each other so I decided to use Photoshop as a tool to create a separate color correction LUT to match the 2 camera together.

Day 10:
Final draft is posted through Matt's YouTube.
